Warranty & Return Policy
At Simplifeye Optical, we believe in keeping things as crystal clear as your new lenses. So, here's our warranty and return policy, spelled out for you:

1. Custom Prescription Lenses:
-
Each pair of lenses is as unique as your prescription. Once your order hits the lab, it's all systems go, and we can't hit the brakes.
-
We offer a one-time, 60-day non-adapt warranty on prescription lenses. This means if your eyes decide they're not best buddies with your new lenses, we've got your back.
-
No refunds here, but we're all about solutions. You can exchange your eyewear or get store credit.
2. Custom Orders:
-
Custom orders are like one-of-a-kind works of art. They can't be canceled once they're in motion.
-
Insurance didn't cover the full tab? No problem. You'll need to settle the balance before we place your order.
3. Shipping Time:
-
Good things take time, and so do our orders. Plan for 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.
-
If a surprise delay pops up (hey, life happens), we'll reach out pronto. But, sorry, no compensation for delays.
4. Using Your Existing Frames:
-
We're like eyewear wizards, but even wizards have their limits. Sometimes, inserting lenses into existing frames can be a bit tricky and rare frame damage might occur.
-
We can't warranty or reimburse for this, but we'll suggest a suitable frame alternative if it happens. Any extra costs? Yep, they're on you.
5. Payment Methods:
-
We're flexible with payments. You can use e-transfer, cash, credit, or debit cards. Just no checks, please.
-
Payment in full is due at the time of purchase.
6. Frame Repairs:
-
Minor repairs? On the house! But if it's major surgery, there might be a fee. The cost varies, so let's chat about it.
7. Booking Appointments:
-
We value your time and ours. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule.
-
If you cancel on short notice three times, we'll have to part ways with future appointments.
8. Warranty Duration:
-
Warranty timelines start from the date on your invoice, not the delivery date.
-
Frames generally have a 1 or 2-year warranty against manufacturer defects, but wear and tear or misuse aren't covered.
-
Lenses with scratch or anti-reflective coatings have a 1-year warranty against coating defects (remember, scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof).
-
Premium coatings are champs with a 2-year warranty.
9. Delivery Area and Shipping Costs:
-
Our delivery area is awesome, but if you want something shipped outside it, you're in charge of the shipping costs.

Phew, that's the lowdown on our policies. If you have any questions or need further info, don't hesitate to reach out. Your eyewear journey with Simplifeye Optical should be as smooth as a freshly cleaned lens!
